Welcome to our easy to handle rigorous Mode Solver ATSOS, an Analysis Tool for Stratified Optical Structures – the module for cylindrical multi-layer fiber systems.
New software for design and simulation of stratified optical systems with a modern Java based graphical user interface and an underlying C++/Fortran computational core is presented. A fully rigorous calculation for fiber and surface plasmon-vector modes on symmetric and asymmetric metal cladded fiber configurations is implemented. The complex dispersion relation can be obtained for systems with the exact inclusion of absorption and radiation effects.
